  7. The Sims 3: Fast Lane Stuff – Review

    Unfortunately I was a little late in getting me copy of sims 3 fast lane stuff… i bought from amazon but it came a day later than expected! didn’t come in amazon packaging either…even though i preordered it from amazon themselves, not a seller on amazon.
    on the plus side, i did get a refund of about 50p for my pre order price guarantee (it must have been reduced since i ordered it).
    anyway, onto the game.
    this game is a stuff pack so there is no guide to go with it. although, if there had been one i would have bought it!

    so far i have been able to purchas the following items within the game:

    - sign of the times
    - the gridlock cone
    - stop-o-meter
    - go go go lights
    - win-win trophy case
    - final flat banner
    - custom rims

    i am currently saving for the next item which is i think around 175,000 simoleons! a challenge in itself…which is good because you need a goal in this game.

    there are plenty of new items and vehicles to choose from, you definately get your moneys worth i think.

    infact, i would say the only downside of this game…which is really a bad point about the sims 3 interface, is that you can’t search for the items you want to add.
    it would be good to see a search box in the buy section so you dont have to sift through everything.
    the items added from a particular expansion or stuff pack to have their game icon next to them in the menus but you cant catagorize them with that either.

    the animation within the game is definately improving and becoming more smooth and dynamic as each expansion and stuff pack is released.

    all in all, go buy it, its fab :)
